Genius Products and the Weinstein Company have announced the DVD release of the Amanda Bynes romantic comedy Lovewrecked on March 13th for the suggested retail price of $19.95.


Set in a tropical paradise and filled with romance and summertime antics, the film features an “all-star line-up of Hollywood up-and-comers” including Bynes (What A Girl Wants, She’s The Man, “The Amanda Show”), Chris Carmack (Just My Luck, “The O.C.”), Jamie-Lynne DiScala (“The Sopranos”), Jonathan Bennett (Mean Girls, The Dukes Of Hazzard: The Beginning) and ‘N Sync’s Lance Bass. The film also features “outrageous” supporting performances from comedy veterans Kathy Griffin (“Kathy Griffin: My Life On the D-List,” “Suddenly Susan”) and Fred Willard (Anchorman, For Your Consideration).

Synopsis:
Jenny (Bynes) is stranded with her pop star idol (Carmack) on a romantic Caribbean beach. When Jenny discovers it’s just a short walk back to their resort, she tries every trick in the book to keep her crush thinking they’re lost at sea. Will her plans be shipwrecked when her rival (DiScala) finds them and threatens to let the secret out?
